I've never seen a game that could approach such deep themes in its story in such a graceful and charismatic way. Yes, Final Fantasy IX is great for its screenplay and for its graphics, but also for the choices it makes regarding the tone in which the story is told. Play it with an open heart and let the fairy tale-like characters take you throughout this awesome trip.
Every new playthrough will make you find new details that enhance your experiance and relationship with the characters.
Combat animations will make you chill and really believe you accomplished something truly great when defeating a boss.
Every single chapter delivers a rewarding and/or intriguing experience.
Gameplay mechanics and turn based combat might be challenging for new generation players to engage.
